Terms of Service

Mise En Scene Custom home and remodeling provides interior design and remodeling services for residential and commercial projects.

All Projects and Ongoing services provided by Mise En Scene Custom Home and Remodeling is subject to the following terms and conditions.

 

Hours of Operation

Business hours are Monday-Friday from 10am-5pm CST. If you require assistance outside the posted hours, such as on weekends or holidays, please reach us via email. In the event of an emergency, please call and leave a voice message and someone will reach out as soon as possible. 

 

Copyright & Ownership

Upon completion of all projects Mise En Scene Custom Home and Remodeling reserves the right to take photos and/or videos of the completed installation for use on our website and social media channels. 

 

Communication

Communication between Mise En Scene Custom Home and Remodeling and clients will be through various methods including phone, email, text (SMS), online chat forum, and USPS. 

NON-Communication - If we are unable to communicate with a client on a project for a duration of at least Thirty days (30) by phone, text or email during the design and development process, the project will be canceled without prior notice and no refund will be issued.

Estimates & Contracts

Estimates and proposals provided to clients will be honored for 14 days. After 14 days, a new quote will be provided upon request. If applicable, pricing will be updated to reflect the current market rates. 

Contracts that have been written and submitted to the client, but not signed by the client will only be accepted within 5 business days of the delivery date. A new contract may be drawn up upon request.

Payments

Mise En Scene Custom Home and Remodeling accepts payments via ACH and all major Credit Cards, Venmo, Affirm, Klarna and Paypal. 

Payment Schedules with coordinating dates will be listed for each project contract. Each payment should be completed according to the schedule. Failure to pay according to the schedule will result in the delay of the projects completion. The project will not continue until the payment has been received.

Charges & Fees

In the event a missed payment delays the installation for more than 1 day, the client will be charged a fee of $200 a/day, until the payment is made. Mise En Scene Custom Home and Remodeling retains the right to halt any project until payment is received for such services. 

 

Cancellation / Refund Policy

Cancellation of the project at the request of the Client must be made in writing. In the event cancellation is requested, we shall have the right to retain all payments to date, and any invoiced amounts will be deemed payable on the contract. In the event this amount is not sufficient to cover the Development time and expense already invested in the project, additional payment will be due for the hours incurred at Mise En Scene Custom Home and Remodeling’s hourly rate. Due to the intensive hours taken to complete project designs we do not offer refunds. You will have rights to all “work” completed up to the point of cancellation and it will be transferred within 72 Business hours of cancellation.

Chargebacks

Mise En Scene Custom Home and Remodeling will not negotiate chargebacks with any person or company. Our Refund policies are clearly stated above, and all clients are asked to read and agree to our terms of service prior to the start of any project.

 

Development & Delivery

Mise En Scene Custom Home and Remodeling understands the importance of completing projects in a timely manner. We agree to complete projects within the timeframe outlined in the client contract.

The client may request a Project Extension in writing to Mise En Scene Custom Home and Remodeling. Requesting a Project Extension is subject to an additional fee of 20% of the project total cost for every 30 days of extension. All extension fees are due upon agreement of the extension between Mise En Scene Custom Home and Remodeling and the client.

 

Acceptance

Please note that by submitting your Deposit or down payment for our services you are agreeing to ALL of our terms of service as written here. Mise En Scene Custom Home and Remodeling reserves the right to change or update these terms at any time without prior notice.
